Marie Drucker

Marie Drucker is one of the most loved French journalists.

Marie Drucker is a French journalist as well as a television personality.  Marie Drucker was born in Paris in 1974, born to French television executive and niece to Michel Drucker, who is a television journalist as well.  Anyone could have guessed that Marie Drucker would end up becoming a face that all would know and love.  With a famous television executive for a father and her uncle who was equally as famous as a journalist. However, fortunately for Marie Drucker she would end up proving that she was not only just lucky enough to be born into a family that not only had wealth and fame but who also pushed her to be the best and do whatever it is that she loved.  Marie Drucker did not get to where she is now without some real motivation, brains and determination.  In this article I will discuss Marie Drucker and her life as well as how she ended up becoming one of the most adored journalists in France.

Her Life

Growing up Marie Drucker would express interest in the world around her, the news and she definitely liked to be heard.  As the daughter of  a famous television executive and her uncle would reported the news to Paris, it was easy to see that she would quickly become comfortable with all eyes on her.  The older she became the more she would express her interest in the journalism world.  Marie Drucker would end up going to the Sorbonne where she would end up working towards a degree in modern literature.

Marie Drucker is a French journalist.

The Sorbonne, or sometimes referred to as the University of Paris, is one of the oldest and well established schools in Paris.  The Sorbonne was first founded in the twelfth century. The Sorbonne has gone through many changes and was also shut down for an entire century.  However, no matter how many changes have happened to this school, the Sorbonne is one of the best universities in Paris.  Marie Drucker would end up attending the Sorbonne and receiving the best education possible for her degree in modern literature. The Sorbonne is known for being highly dedicated in the areas of Literature, Languages, Civilizations, the Humanities, Arts as well as Social Sciences.  The Sorbonne is known for really helping their students to be prepared for the world after college. They encourage their students to think freely and make the right decisions based upon good judgement and critical thinking.  At the Sorbonne Marie Drucker would end up learning all she needed to know about modern literature along with learning how to think independently, make the correct decisions based upon logical and critical thinking.

Once Marie Drucker had finally finished her college education she began her career hunt.  She was able to find a job as a freelance reporter for some magazines such as ELLE.  She worked as a freelance journalist for ELLE and other publications until she found a steady job working for the Capa agency a few years later.  She would work with the Capa agency on a television programme that was called, "What Do You Think Of It?"  She stayed there for a bit until she went to move on to be a co-presenter for the France 2 show.  From their on Marie Drucker would end up moving onto other news shows such as a twenty-four hour news channel where she would report the news to Paris as well as France 3 which reported the evening news and then finally she was asked to become a weekend substitute anchor for France 2.

Marie Drucker is one of the most well known news anchors in France, not only because of her famous last name as well as famous family, but also for her beautiful face.  Marie Drucker is a very attractive women and was actually voted as the 22nd sexiest woman in the world by For Him Magazine France.  Marie Drucker is extremely attractive and beyond her looks she is extremely intelligent. She has quickly become a favorite amongst most Parisians as well as all of France.  She is known for her amazing reporting and journalistic skills as well as reporting the truth and asking the hard questions.

There was a bit of a scandal with her ex-boyfriend Francois Baroin, who was a French Minister of the Interior.  They were keeping their relationship quiet both for his career as well as hers, however, unfortunately the paparazzi ended up revealing their relationship to the people and she ended up taking some time off of work while he campaigned for his spot as the Minister of the Interior.  Obviously her as a journalist and her boyfriend in the political world, it could make some people feel as though she would not report the news completely unbiased, therefore she decided to step away for awhile until he make it and she would later come back to the journalism world. However that relationship would end shortly thereafter, even after talks of maybe marriage.

Bottom line is that Marie Drucker has proven to herself and her country that she is serious about journalism and about reporting the news.  She has worked hard for where she is today and it really shows. What I find refreshing about Marie Drucker is that she has actually worked hard for what she wants.  She went to college, and not just any college, one of the best colleges in Paris.  She took many jobs, did freelance work and much more to finally get to the weekend anchor spot on France 2.  This speaks volumes to what many of us see that happens all the time all over the world with many celebrity children.  Most kids simply become rich off of their parents money or they are hired on, with barely any skills at all based upon nepotism.  Marie Drucker should be looked at as the example of what everyone should do when they come from a privileged background. Hard work and determination will get a person far, no matter what their background is, and Marie Drucker has proven that.
